| | | Grab bars can serve several functions as people go through their activities of daily living. A grab bar may give the user something to grab onto to help the user move, it may give support to help balance, or it may give the user something to push off of allowing the person needing help to use their arms as well as their legs. The M-rail and Dependa-bar can be used to help move in bed or help get out of it: Couch canes or chair cane assist standing from a chair or couch; and grab bars coming in 12, 24, 32, and 36 inch sizes meet a variety of needs.
